Guest guest
Debbie, My appendix aren't where they are supposed to be either and the Dr. who did my hysterectomy discovered it. Interesting! I doubt if it's Lyme related ... I would think we were born with the appendix like that and they didn't move after we got Lyme. :-) But it is pretty strange. Coincidence? Hmmm! Has Twilight Zone come back? Grin! Be well ... Ann
Guest guest
Thanks Gene couldn't have said it better myself. I must admit, that I find myself wondering if lyme is the cause of alot of my previous problems. I guess we are always looking for reasons as to why we feel the way we do. Guest guest
Does anyone know anything about your appendix. I have read some info. I am not sure if that is what is causing me pain lately. I know what the yeast pain in the gut feels lilke but this seems different. I practically have to be in cardiac arrest to get medical care so I haven't called the doctor. Plus from what I read there is no test to determine if it is your appendix. The pain is on the right side in the area where the appendix it located from a chart I looked at. When you push on it it doesn't hurt. I can exercise and I have been streatching the area. Mostly it seems like I feel this pain when I am exposed to something. Lately fragrance is coming into my apartment through the vents even though I have them covered. I tried to use the ac yesterday because it was in the 90's and I am on the second floor but I couldn't handle it-- the fragrance was so strong. As soon as it comes on I feel the pain in all my weak spots, sinuses, RSD on hand, and the appendix thingy. I have had the pain for about a month on an off. I walk as much as I can and have been trying to keep in shape. Thanks for any info. Unfortunately I don't have very great doctors. They were always nice and tried to work with me but after a while my illness was out of their realm of expertise. It is like when you go there, they don't want you to mention yeast or anything pertaining to mold illness.
Guest guest
, I would definately be very cautious on how long you let this go on, before you see a doctor, if not several. All I can say to you is from my own experience and it definately took me by surprise. For about a day or two my right side had just a little bit of pain in that area, that just didn't feel quite right. Almost as if, for some reason, like I didn't eat enough. Hard to describe, but nothing real serious in the beginning. In women there are other organs around that area also, ie: ovaries. About 2 days after it had begun, in the middle of the night, my wife got me to the hospital. They did a couple of simple tests, pushed on the area, check for constipation (ugg) and that was about it. The next step was on the way to surgery. From what I was told I was lucky, again. lol (most know the other story) My appendix was ready to burst. SEE A DOCTOR. It is better to be safe than sorry. I also have another concern/question on a comment you made about the RSD in your hand. Please tell me more about this either here or if you feel more comfortable email me. This is also a very unusual disease, that seems to be almost as hard to diganosis as someone who has been exposed to toxins. I have been very aware of RSD for several years and stay in touch with support groups (and people) and I am aware that there is no cure to this date for this either. Obviously we are speaking about the central nervous system again not working properly and have come across several people that have been diagnosed with RSD after a mold exposure (not all though) and there was not any type of trama that would have triggered this. I also understand 25% of RSDer's had just woke up with the symptoms with no particular reason. I know several people that have this full body, but it only started out in one area in the beginning. Guest guest
My first doctor visit didnt see what was up with my daughter, so she eneded up in bed, fever, thrwoing up, until her appendix burst on the operating table, and she was filling with poisons. Yeah, get another oppinion. [] Re: Appendix , I would definately be very cautious on how long you let this go on, before you see a doctor, if not several. Guest guest
HI LINDA--I WAS A NURSE PRIOR TO MY SEVERE MOLD-EXPOSURE. IF YOU HAVE PAIN IN YOUR RLQ (RIGHT LOWER QUADRANT) OF YOUR ABDOMEN, YOU REALLY NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR...IT COULD BE MANY THINGS. IT COULD BE AN OVARIAN CYST, IT COULD BE APPENDICITIS (BUT I DOUBT IT, IF YOU DON'T HAVE PAIN WHEN YOU PUSH ON THE AREA), IT COULD BE DIVERTICULITIS, ETC...ETC. IN SHORT: SEE A DOCTOR. AND THERE ARE TESTS TO DO TO CHECK FOR APPENDICITIS. TAKE CARE, V. [] Appendix Does anyone know anything about your appendix. I have read some info.
