There is only one way to dehumidify a basement or crawl space and that is with a

dehumidifier. Drawing in humid outside air, whether passively or mechanically,

is counter-intuitive, and can even exacerbate a problem. See Advanced Energy's

Jeff,

I also was somewhat leery when I saw no filters, or

water to empty. I have so much mold around my house.
