While killing mold in ones environment is certainly good (unless it unleashes a cloud of dead, dried up spores), this is such a limited component of the overall phenomenon that this would be like saying you can effectively avoid cigarette smoke by smashing all the ash trays you can find. Sure wouldn't work for me. -
Guest guest
Erii You are so adamant that we would all benefit from your personal treatment plan. If that were true, those of us that have been helped by other means shouldn't experience the good health or improved health we enjoy. I have to say your War on Mold makes me weary when you hammer away at it with such vigor. Would you care to listen to me on my soapbox declaring that all fellow CFS sufferers should go the route of antibiotic therapy for lyme disease which is at the root of all CFS??? That would be no more true than your premise that we all should be working toward complete mold avoidance. Your experience is valid, I don't question that. But there are other experiences just as valid. Would you prefer that we don't accept for ourselves the diagnosis of CFS, that you, and your mold sensitive cronies are the only ones to " deserve " that distinction? That'd be fine with me I suppose. The term CFS doesn't do justice to the majority of us anyway, including those with the mold illness. I'm being cranky today I guess. I am irritated at the campaign to make us all mold sensitive warriors in your battle. Diane in MI Re:Tea tree oil may affect hormones... And just like you it is simple to tell someone who is not conversant with CFS by the way they describe it as " fatigue " , you can easily spot someone who is unfamiliar with the properties of mycotoxins by the way they express it in terms of allergy, or something that can be relatively easily mopped up or sprayed with bleach. I do find it amazingly odd that people who say they are desperately searching for anything that might help woould be more eager to trounce on a demonstrable clue than the CDC was. In fact, I view the staggering intensity of the " disinterest response " to be just as interesting as the mold phenomenon itself, because people swear that they would react " with interest " if someone had any relevant information. It appears that this is only true if that information comes from a doctor. It's always interesting to watch the process as someone who spent years vehemently dismissing the concept suddenly finds out that it actually does apply to them. Been seeing that quite a bit, lately. -
