You would be best served by talking with a mold-savvy doctor. But

there are SO few around, at least here in the US.

There is a major cover up of mold illness that is not being addressed

by anyone, it often seems.

Still that said, there has been some progress. At least people are

beginning to see what is happening and that there desperately needs to

be attention paid to the problem because so many people are ill and

are getting the runaround.

And the ACOEM position paper was exposed in the Wall Street Journal a

year ago (!) and the government non-response, which has become a big

issue in the wake of Katrina, is being investigated by GAO.

So, if you know where to look, there is a lot to read.

There was a presentation at the NTP meeting a few weeks ago by Dr.

Shoemaker in which he discussed both established treatments like

cholestyramine and some of the newer work he is doing, as well as the

research needs.

Cholestyramine is the #1 thing that has helped me. It is a

prescription drug, though. Its a bile acid sequestrant.

Download his NTP submission from here

http://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/index.cfm?objectid=7D79A69E-F1F6-975E-70EA80AB43A6C710

He has a paper on one of his websites, http://biotoxin.info or

http://chronicneurotoxins.com or http://moldwarriors.com which

describes the reasons why cholestyramine works.. Look for the time

series article in Toxicological Sciences

Both have got a lot of useful information in them.

Then watch the video in which Shoemaker follows Ken Hudnell

The video is the second one here:

http://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/index.cfm?objectid=1C10B753-F1F6-975E-7E6D41437E9A8F33

As far as other things that can help. I know that for me, reading the

CFS lists has basically told me about a lot of other things.

Cholestyramine has been the biggest help, though.

By far.
