BH4 concerns

I've been reading about a lot about the use of BH4 but something have

been confounding me lately. When you look at the theories of Drs

Pall, Dr. Cheney, Dr. Bell, etc.. there is the

realization that we are producing excess nitric oxide in our bodies.

Nitric oxide when paired with super oxide leads to peroxynitrite, or

cell death. I realize that 0 bh4 molecules generates peroxynitrite,

and 1 bh4 molecule generates super oxide, but when you have 2 bh4

generating nitric oxide and it isn't paired with l-citrulline in the

urea cycle, it doesn't re-convert to arginine!

I haven't heard of many people supplementing with l-citrulline, and

I've seen pretty low numbers on UAAs for myself and others. Why isn't

there more of an emphasis on supplementation with urea cycle

metabolites so that ammonia is detoxified via its natural route (the

urea cycle), and why isn't there an emphasis on l-citrulline

especially so that nitric oxide isn't free to roam and combine with

super oxide??

I would love to hear people's feedback on this, but I'm just trying to

play the devil's advocate in suggesting that supplementing with BH4

(which many are starting to do) might cause more good than harm since

we already have an excess of nitric oxide in our bodies due to immune

abnormalities (the initial infection causes a cascade reaction ->

upregulated cytokines and other mediators -> high nitric oxide).

As Dr. Bell says, high nitric oxide and poor nitric oxide

metabolism explains the vasculopathy (orthostatic intolerance),

central sensitization (sensitivities to food, temperature, light,

sound etc), and cellular hypoxia (impaired ATP production).
