Guest guest
Osler's Web Inside the Labyrinth of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic by Hillary , page 264 Incline Village, Nevada In March, another patient suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome in Dan 's practice developed B-cell lymphoma.. Since the Tahoe epidemic began in 1984, had witnessed the development of four salivary gland tumors and now five B-cell lymphomas among victims of the disease or their close contacts. " This is way above normal for a community of eight thousand, I can tell you that, " a distressed said that spring. " We have about forty times the amount we should have. " Denver Colorado On March 24, an article by Denver researcher was published in the New England Journal of Medicine on the subject of chronic fatigue syndrome and cancer. Three of his patients with severe chronic Epstein-Barr infections had developed T cell lymphomas. One of the lymphoma victims was an eight-year-old; all of them died. The doctor cautioned against drawing any conclusions about the chronic desease and cancer, but he told a reporter at the time, " I have an obligation to advise the scientific community that the spectrum of EBV disease is broader than previously expected. The syndrome encompasses a lot of different evils, " also said that two of his Denver CFS patients had killed themselves that year. ________________________________________________________ People at this time thought that we all had a death sentence. Dr and Dr Cheney ordered " Kappa Lambda " light chain ratio tests for us all - to determine if we had the propensity to develope lymphoma. Marc Iverson's research grant paid for my test. Much to my relief, mine was in the favorable range, and my sentence was lifted. -
Guest guest
I went on Vacation and tried it.Went off all my meds and supplements. I've been sick since 1989. Felt great for 3 days. Day 4 started getting very very sick, even though just lying on the beach and relaxing in the pool and ocean in Jamaica. Went back on meds gradually , to see if I could stay off of some of them. That was a mistake. Now I have fibro symptoms that I have not had in years, headaches, keep getting sick again. I believed it would work, bit unfortunately, it did not. I use some techniques in every day life to get thru work and life, since I am a personal trainer. I use happy music, all day long, too get thru exercise and work, especially when I get tired. I hope it works for some people, but it did not for me. I do believe some CBT techniques help me to fucnction better. Having a purpose helps me to get out of bed and get thru each day. When work is slow, I feel even more tired than usual. Helping people makes me feel good and pushes me on. Carol in LI, NY **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489
