Guest guest
Mike C, And you are continuing to feel near normal using the IP whey? How long have you been on it? What CFS symptoms were cleared significantly after you introduced the IP whey? Thx, Stacey --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage. Guest guest
No, Stacey, after a while the whey benefits reached their peak and I stopped using it. However, once I took it for a year and then stopped, I never went back to the horrible state that I was in during 1993 and 1994 when I first became ill. Additionally, the relapses that I have had haven't been as bad. Pre-whey, some of the relapses that I had were just awful-lying in the fetal position in the shower trying to get warm, bad headaches and lower back pain and leg pain. I didn't go in to all of this in my last message because it was long already. Bottom line is that if you haven't tried whey, figure out some way to buy the good stuff. It's probably $60 now, but it is the best thing I ever took. At Cheney's 1999 lecture which I attended near Dallas, he quoted one of his patients as saying that " it (whey) gave me my life back " . (for those long timers, yes, ImmunePro was not around pre 1999, Cheney was using Imuplus or the other one). Mike C > > Mike C, > And you are continuing to feel near normal using the IP whey? Guest guest
Nil- If your message was addressed to me, I have no idea. From what I have read I believe that I was deficient in glutathione, probably from a poor/mostly vegetarian diet, and the ImmunePro was able to restore my glutathione very quickly. As far as I know, taking oral reduced glutathione supplement is of little value. I think I still have an 8 year old bottle of glut. capsules in my cabinet that I need to discard. I really want to try ImmunePro again, but I have been functioning OK lately. One important thing, I have never found anything to help w/ the post exertional fatigue, therefore my exercise is confined to doing heavy lawn work in short bursts-like 10 minutes at a time.
