Guest guest
Whew. Google that, y'all. I didn't see anything about chickens. But I didn't look really hard. The stuff about cows and quails was enough for me. Why this is controversial for humans is beyond me, other than it conflicts with other ineffective, billable treatment.

Guest guest
How often do you eat fish and aren't you concerned with the polluted waters and mercury problem? I do eat fish too about once a week but I feel like perhaps I shouldn't. Problem IS we have to stop polluting the environment and food supply or we won't have anything safe to eat anymore. It seems like that already. Guest guest
Merlyn, My doctor just prescribed me cholestramine and I have the two cans of poweder but I haven't tried it yet. I hadn't seen anyone talk about but was going to ask. After doing a test on my liver enzymes and finding out that I am impaired abilities to detox, on top of what we need to detox, he recommended this for the fat soluable toxins. My big concern is that it says it can cause constipation. Of course, my orders from my LLMD are to keep things moving well. I struggle to do that. As soon as I think things are on track I get screwed up and I'm miserable for a week or two. So, I'm concerned about taking it quite yet. What did you take it with out of curiosity? How does it taste? Do you have any suggestions or tips for how you kept things moving while on it? Also, is this something that is going to cause weight loss for absorbing the fat? Thank you! I haven't spent much time looking into it, because I wasn't ready to use it. And, this was called in for me even though I'm in IN and my LLMD is in MO. Thank you! > > , You need to detox. Your LLMD should be able to help. I think the best product is cholestramine-it is a prescription. It only works if you can keep your bowels moving . Other wise it makes things worse. Try coffee enemas. Also cholestepure and chitopower. Merlyn
Guest guest
, I don't have time to write about this right now, and please give me a call before starting the cholestyramine... my son and I were both put on it with pretty disastrous results. There's something much better, that works, and won't hurt you. Guest guest
I've had several mold-injured customers over the years report good results with cholestyramine. I tried it and it made my stomach turn. I later found out that the powered form brand-named Questran is artificially sweetened. I think that is what got to me. It may have caused a candida flare. It may probably be best for many folks who are going to try it, to have a compounding pharmacy make an unsweetened version. Guest guest
Hi Cindi, I saw your note regarding the cholestyramine...I am wondering if you can put the info into a post for the whole group sometime when you do have more time. I am sure I am not alone in my interest in this topic. Thanks, Maureen <, I don't have time to write about this right now, and please give me a call before starting the cholestyramine... my son and I were both put on it with pretty disastrous results. Guest guest
I will and I'm hoping to get to it tomorrow. I have to do a write up for the teasel training, that includes this same info on the whole body nutritional cleanse... I'm excited about sharing and want to do it justice, because it's saved our lives and furthered our recovery from lyme and many other things, upon a number of occasions. Thanks for your patience, Cindi RE: [ ] Re: Cholestramine Hi Cindi, I saw your note regarding the cholestyramine...I am wondering if you can put the info into a post for the whole group sometime when you do have more time. Guest guest
I had cholestyramine compounded unsweetened and was on Dr. Shoemaker's protocol for 9 months. CSM didn't bother me one iota. In fact it helped. Also it never affected my cholesterol levels either. I tried Questran first but couldn't tolerate the sweetener. I had it compounded at some pharmacy in CA after researching all the prices. They were the cheapest and were shipping it all over the US and I think they were also working with a doctor using it. If anyone one is interested I can look it up. It may take a while to find it as it was 2 years ago and I'm pretty busy this week. Guest guest
, Just start our increasing fruit and veggies and avoiding constipating foodds. Then start cholestramine at 1/3 dose and start working up. Add stool softners and keep trac of BMs. If bowels start slowing down stop med till they are going. You can also add alot of vita C and magnesium to keep things moving-10grams or more of each. You can also take each dose with metamucil. In fact that may work best.
