Guest guest
Well it seems Ive lost an investment...This has been a huge oversight on my part. BEAM central vacs do not make anything but vinyl hoses. They tell me thats is all I will find. I would think that those of us with MCS would NEED and WANT central vacs. I cannot believe that companies don't make an alternative hose. Any one out there happy with theirs? What brands do others have? Is anyone familiar with the car kit? Im being offered taht, but it is also partially vinyl. It is looking like this investment will end up unused - unless dealers other than BEAM have campatable plastic hoses. So will you once you have a non-toxic hose. How long is the hose? I have a 60' and 75' long hose. Where I live we have two types of hoses; vinyl and hard plastic. The vinyl I cannot tolerate, the plastic caused me no problems after a few days outside a mild wash. Perhaps you can contact the supplier and see if they have a plastic hose and ask them to cut a foot or two off for you to try out at home.
