Can be a neurotoxin in the brain directly or indirectly when taken as a targeted amino, though 500 mg might be ok occasionally. Again if gut is the issue, I woulcn't bother, but have your own experience, prove it to yourself one way or another. Mag Taurine is more than an amino, there is also a mineral involved. I'd have to see more reason to suspect there was a sulphur *metabolism* problem before I'd consider substances.
