Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know that pine cone extract, which was pulled from the market because they were going to make it prescription, is back on the market. It used to be called Pinextra, and was recommended by Cheney as a Th2-Th1 shifter, helpful for viral symptoms. I am pretty sure that this is the same company, because they are in the same location (St sburg, FL), though now the product is called Immunextra and it's a capsule and not a tincture. Also, I think the price has come down a lot (a little hard to say, because of comparing capsule price to tincture). It was $65US for a one ounce bottle and it's now as cheap as $44US for 60 capsules, including shipping (no shipping if you get it on auto delivery, which I did and which they say you can cancel anytime and it's a few bucks more if it's not on autodelivery). They say take one cap a day, but I personally found with the tincture I had to take more than they said to get the help I needed. Haven't tried it yet, so can't say if it'll help like the tincture did (it helped a lot with fevers, painful lymph nodes). But I do think it is the same company, so it should. Also, there is an herbalist in Texas who makes pine cone extract in an alcohol base (pinextra was not in alcohol). I personaly can't have alcohol so that was a problem for me. I believe (this was a few years ago) a one ounce bottle from her was $75US. Google pine cone extract and Texas and that should give you her contact info. Immunextra is immunextra.com or 888-immune8 I am not associated with immunextra or the Texas herbalist, just trying to pass along helpful information. Best to everyone, Taliesen

Guest guest
No, it doesn't claim any effect on appetite or weight control and I certainly never noticed any effect like this (unfortunately).
