That's great Mike that juice fasting helped you. I would just caution that for

some people,

raw vegetables are even harder to digest than cooked (or steamed). Of course

it's all a

balancing act...

Also -- and this I know will sound bizarre -- but we had a guy named Chip

Halverson

come speak to our group about a year ago. He had recovered from MCS/CFS...and

one of

his main points was that while organic is good, organic vegetables can be loaded

with

parasites -- so it's best to at least blanch them (quick boil for a minute)

before eating or

juicing.

<<As long as one doesn't quick boil them long enough to remove

the nutrients. I think if I were worried about parasites, I

would wash the organics with a little soap, and then thoroughly

rinse them. I will have to check my juicing books. But yes, that

is bizarre that Chip said that>>
