Guest guest
I am shopping for flooring also. If $ is not an issue, real linolium is the way to go- not only does it last forever-it feels great and does not have any oder- Grip11is a glue I read about that can be used for MCS. Cork is an underlayment that may be able to be used with Pergo- it wont smell- but you would have to ask. Another alternative is enginerred wood- cheaper than hardwood. Installs like pergo. We installed pergo about two months ago in a bedroom that used to have a rug in it. Pergo is made of part glue part cellulose materials. Thus, it looks nice but I can't be in that room now for any length of time. The underlay - thin styrofoam vapor barrier that came with it, is what it sits on, like a floating jigsaw puzzle. Each month it is less stinky but must air the room out daily and it isn't that great for MCS, in my opinion. Tile seems best but then it must be glued and sealed and that has its own set of problems. Anyone have any comments on flooring? We are getting ready to do another room in something...
