If anyone was able to handle all sorts of stressors, than no one on this world would be ill or die. Emotions, thoughts and behaviour do affect your health and illness, but to what extent? That'll differ from person to person. It's very popular these days to blame everything on stress, but there's more to life/health than that. This retraining can probably help/cure depression and anxiety (because it is possible to alter the brainfunctions through CBT etc.), but it won't cure things like cancer, MS, HIV/AIDS, lupus, dementia or whatever. Even though the immunesystem is also involved in many of these diseases.
