I've had the cardiac impedence test done. I couldn't get anyone to

take my heart issues seriously, they kept saying it was palpitations

and I knew it wasn't.

I was in MD at the time and flew up to NY to see Dr Enlander. i chose

him not only because he was an ME specialist, but also because he had a

cardiac impedence machine in his office which he has because he finds

this problem in most of his ME patients. He tests patients on it as

part of his initial 1st patient visit work up. The machine showed I did

have problems and this was what was causing my dizziness.

I was there for a total of about 3 hrs. I believe the cost for the

whole visit and office tests (excluding many, many lab tests) was about

$600. I had BC/BS Carefirst insurance, which Dr E. takes and they

pretty much paid for the whole thing.

If you do a search on cardiac impediance you will be able to find the

manufactuer. Give them a call and they should be able to tell you of a

doctor near you that has this machine. It seems to be a relatively new

technology and even my cardiologist hadn't heard of it.

Can't help you with the other tests as I haven't had them.

Oh, that's right. I remember reading that in one of the articles.

I forgot and was wondering how I would go about finding a Dr. that

would do this or know where a machine was.
