Guest guest
Hi Bernie, The same exact thing happens to me...except I could stand to gain a hell of a lot more weight. But when I cut out or down on carbs -- even complex ones -- I feel worse -- and when I dare eat something sweet, I do feel better. Sometimes get a little mood-swingy, but not much else. I wonder if some of these 'diets' are too extreme, and our bodies are crying out for more fuel in the form of carbohydrates? Anyway, recently I've been taking a spoonful of raw unprocessed honey every day. The regular homogenized, processed stuff can have high-fructose corn syrup and other additives, plus the unprocessed has enzymes and supposedly has antibacterial properties. So...just a suggestion...perhaps a spoonful of honey might actually be an alternative to d- ribose. Guest guest
I have used the Dr. T D-Ribose, and do not do well on it---makes me feel toxic. I TOO feel better with a sugar shock-------I refer to it as a " shock " , because I will eat a very strict diet, then at a weak moment, feeling rotten, maybe every two months or so, will eat ice cream and feel GREAT !?!? Surely there is something that can be prescribed rather then sugar? Remember, " cancer loves sugar " .
