Guest guest
Hi all, Just wonder if anyone (especially anyone using them! has any info on Cheney's 'Cell Signaling Factor' (CSF) products he's using transdermally with patients, as described in recent articles on his work, eg: http://www.immunesupport.com/library/showarticle.cfm?id=8888 I've had a google around but can't find anything on them (or related tissue extract type stuff), but I might not be looking in the right area - does anyone know if they are generally available, or if Cheney gets them specially made up? Are there any particular companies/pharmacies that produce them? Thanks for any tips Cheers, Luke
Guest guest
Hi Luke, The first CSF product he mentions, Kutapressin, that he used to use, is now manufactured under the name Nexavir, by NexCO. I am using this and benefit greatly. As Kutapressin, it was very successful for several years for a subset of PWCs, and is now, as Nexavir. (as injectable or transdermal creme). The next ones he mentions are like the ones manufactured by Atrium labs, or available at Lloyd's on the West Coast, After seeing Dr. Cheney in 2005, I took Zepatix ( at Atrium) also called TLM at Lloyd's for 3 years. It is a frozen porcine extract containing liver, mesenchyme and thymus? For his 1st heart trial, he used a porcine heart product with mesenchyme that I think was manufactured by Atrium for the trial, but is not currently available. Currently, he's using several experimental transdermal CSFs that he mentions that are not currently available. Dr. Enlander uses something called Hepapressin within an injected formula, that is supposed to be similar to Nexavir/Kutapressin. I don;t know much about it or if it is considered to be CSFs. Best Wishes, Katrina > > Hi all, > > Just wonder if anyone (especially anyone using them! has any > info on Cheney's 'Cell Signaling Factor' (CSF) products he's using > transdermally with patients, as described in recent articles on his > work, eg: http://www.immunesupport.com/library/showarticle.cfm?id=8888 > > I've had a google around but can't find anything on them (or related > tissue extract type stuff), but I might not be looking in the right > area - does anyone know if they are generally available, or if Cheney > gets them specially made up? Guest guest
Thanks so much for the info Katrina, will look into that some more. Interesting to hear that Kutapressin lives on as Nexavir and great to hear you're benefiting from it. I take it you didn't find Zepatix as helpful if you've stopped taking it? Cheers! Guest guest
Luke, I stopped Zepatix soley due to finances...very *not* happy about that:( The same thing is coming re Nexavir, in 6 weeks or so, if I don't figure something out. I did not do well the time I had to stop it. My last idea so far is if I might get covered for it under an inflammatory skin disease...something that's FDA approved for Nexavir. I think that one listed might be " somewhere " in my Dermatology chart, and I go there at end of month. Kutapressin had been around for decades and was easier to get. When a new manufacturer takes over, they have to start from square one with studies for use with official FDA approval ( and the strictest are all that some Ins covers.) The studies cost millions of dollars! And Nexco/Nexavir has not done them all. Recently, between times I ordered, people were having trouble getting NExavir. I don't know anything about what that was about, and I think they able to get it now. There is a Kutapressin group with some archives, but not active the last time I looked. Googling it is interesting too. And maybe in our archives here. I had not paid much attention to it when PWCs were using it years ago, and didn't realise how much it helped some people.. Guest guest
katrina, i see on-line zepatix is available to the public. do u know if dr cheney is still ok with those, or does he think some other product, one not available, is the only way to go. thanks, jim
Guest guest
Hi Jim, I'm not sure of his current thinking on Zepatix, and he is using some other cell signal factors that aren't available yet. I can tell you that I remained taking Zepatix until I could not afford it, but really liked it and would take it again. THe only down side I recall was some individuals' tolerance as is usual for us. I think maybe the Mesenchyme? was a problem for a few. I'll email you later..have stuff to do atm. Guest guest
katrina, take your time in reply. i forgot to include - there seems to be no heart factor in zepatix, which is what i thought was key. but even without it, it still was working? jim > > katrina, > > i see on-line zepatix is available to the public. do u know if dr cheney is still ok with those, or does he think some other product, one not available, is the only way to go. > > thanks, > > jim > > > > >
