Yes, this issue has come up and used to be discussed. My understanding of CJD

itself, human form of mad cow, is that patient declines so rapidly that that

itself could not be ME/CFS. Who knows exactly tho, becasue the whole mad cow

issue has not been fully disclosed to us. {And I just saw a piece about laws on

meat regulations being loosened, rather than tightened up}.

They are prion diseases, and I also recall some CFS research that left open a

possibility of some other form of prion disease...something found in spinal

fluid. One of those really fun findings, never followed through (to our

knowledge).
