Guest guest
Hi! I would like to answer the statement that we are more likely to die early. I have been a vegetarian for the past 13 year and for the past 2 years, I am almost a vegan. I am 5' 6 1/2 or 1.70 m tall and I weigh 62 kg, which is about 136 lbs. I wish that I were thinner right now, but in the past I have been able to get down to about 125 lbs or 56 km. What is keeping some of the weight on me, is my habit of eating sweets for energy. My last cholesterol test was 149 for the total choresterol, which was so low that my doctor, here in Poland did not bother doing the LDL and HDL tests. My chance of dying of heart disease in the next ten years is less than 1 percent. I move as much as I can move and sometimes more than I should on a particular day. I have a lot of pets (30 cats and 4 dogs) and 1 foster dog. One of my dogs is a Caucasian Shepherd who needs a long walk every day. Sometimes I am so tired that I really don't want to leave the house, but I do take him on his walk. I still don't have the energy to work, but I am being treated homeopathically right now, and I see major improvements in my health. Is anyone interested in finding out about this way to get rid CFS? I bet that I am going to be fine and the last 18 years of my life spent with CFS, will be put behind me as I start to catch up on lost time. Mira PS. The walks with the Caucasian Shepherd force me to be outside in the fresh air and to move. @...: dbroughton@...: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 21:32:11 +0000Subject: Re:Does CFS cause premature death? afraid of what I have uncovered Surely an average CFS lifespan is reduced on the simple basis that our lack of exercise must make us more prone to being overweight and have less muscle mass with all of the risks that entails such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. I am sure some of us are slim but I would be interested to compare us to the wider population _________________________________________________________________ Discover the new Windows Vista http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=windows+vista & mkt=en-US & form=QBRE
