Guest guest
Benicar has one known impact with use belong 6 months (according to PubMed studies), a significant drop in Aldosterone. Dr. Cheney wrote " If you block AT1 with an ARB [like Benicar], down will go your Aldosterone, and down will go your blood volume, and you could be in a heap of trouble [i.e. Syndrome]. ARBs that bind to AT1 will constrict blood volume [which is unhealthy with PWCs]. " www.virtualhometown.com/dfwcfids/medical/cheney/heart04.htm One common factor between CFIDS and Diabetes is coagulation. See: * Diabetes mellitus: a hypercoagulable state.(PMID: 11259926) * Chronic fatigue syndrome and/or fibromyalgia as a variation of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome: (PMID: 10695770) The model that I use has diabetes and a variety of other illness dealing with decrease organ function are caused by accumulation of coagulation products in the organs resulting in decreasing production. The literature has the fibrolytic ability of the body decreasing with age, so as it decrease coagulation byproducts increase --- The logical approach to counter (or at least keep the current level) is the use of appropriate enzyemes - Bromelain - Serrapetase - Lumbrokinease - Nattokinease ---------------------------------- There is ONE OTHER FACTOR, Vitamin D deficiency is strongly correlated with diabetes. * Vitamin D and diabetes: improvement of glycemic control with vitamin D3 repletion. [ PMID: 18556494] * Vitamin D and the seasonality of type 2 diabetes.[PMID: 18424013] * Serum Vitamin D and Subsequent Occurrence of Type 2 Diabetes. " high vitamin D status provides protection against type 2 diabetes. " PMID: 18496468 *Intake of vitamin D and risk of type 1 diabetes: a birth-cohort study. " Dietary vitamin D supplementation is associated with reduced risk of type 1 diabetes in animals " 'Dietary vitamin D supplementation is associated with reduced risk of type 1 diabetes " PMID: 11705562 I believed the " other protocol " advocates such [censored] behavior. That is likely a major contributing factor to your diabetes. My suggestion are the above enzyemes AND slowly work up to 4-10000 IU of Vitamin D3 per day (check with your MD first) > > I became diabetic after appros. 18 years of treatment for CFS.
