Nascent Iodine is a formof iodine that is the easiet to tolerate. It is

for more than just thyroid but for detoxification and many other

things. There is an E-book about it by Mark Sircus and the

International Medical Veritas Association website. There are other

books and research on the web.

I started taking it and immediately lost weight and got warmer, both

signs of increased thyroid activity. I got mine at LLMagneticClay.

Various forms of iodine have been used for detoxification of chemicals

and metals, especially bromide from fire retardants on furniture.

[Moderator: Some hard PUBMED study would be nice, a quick google cause me to be

wary of " Nascent Iodine " - I'm seeing claims such as:

" Nascent Iodine – An Iodine process that according to Edgar Cayce gives the

molecule of iodine additional energy making it easier to assimilate into the

body " ( " Edgar Cayce, considered America' s most documented psychic " )

" Nascent Iodine is a consumable iodine in its atomic form rather than its

molecular form. It is an iodine atom that has an incomplete number of electron "

which flys in the face of traditional chemistry...

However there is a PUBMed article (from 1913) that references it and identifies

it as bein Sodium Iodine (a molecule). See

Almost all of the scientific literature dates from before World War 2.
