Guest guest
Hello Al, I know what you are writing about - Dr. P doesn't completely follow Rich's path. I am taking what recommended, but he also wants me using nitrogylcerin, and I cannot tolerate it. It increases my constant head pressure. WIthout the nitro I actually was feeling good and the head pressure was down to almost nothing. But then I had cataract surgery and had to quit the supplements during surgery. I am now back on them. I made the mistake of trying to wear a nitro patch the other day and the headache came back with a vengeance. I am sorry I haven't posted much here. It is just too early to tell if things are working or what. I promise I will try to post more in a month, as things progress. I look forward to reading about your visit with Dr. P. a Carnes {Moderator: for in-depth discussion of the methylation cycle protocol there are two groups the CFS_Yasko and the Simplified. I don't believe there is much activity on the Simplified. All levels are discussed on the CFS_Yasko including those who are not doing the full Yasko protocol, but instead are doing the Simplified protocol as designed by Rich. } > > Thanks Rich I do not want cause you any problems. I just want to understand the science as much as possible to make sure I can properly talk with Dr P about this. I know he believes strongly in the methylation cycle block but as you know by the email I sent you personally, he is not completing your protocol exactly as it is directed. Any help is appreciated as I get ready to start. Thanks Rich. >
Guest guest
Me too - I was having terrible pins and needles and oveall discomfort and finally tried the goatweed - big mistake - made my head feel like it would expode. I was also told to try the nitro tabs or the patch. I then checked with my neuro becuase I do have brain and CNS damage from this illness and my neuro said NO NO NO. I take Lysine to help becuase I know mine is due to the viruses. I also make a spinach - juice smoothie and that helps. > > Hello Al, > I know what you are writing about - Dr. P doesn't completely follow > Rich's path. Guest guest
Dr. P recommends working up to a higher dose of nitroglycerin. I can tolerate a small portion of one pill, but I can't tolerate the patch, not even one little piece of it. I also have some sort of nerve damage - not sure what caused it. a Carnes > > Me too - I was having terrible pins and needles and oveall discomfort > and finally tried the goatweed - big mistake - made my head feel like > it would expode. Guest guest
Hi, I apologize for not having more news yet. I had to have cataract surgery on both eyes during December. This meant that I had to stop most supplements for two weeks. In between I feel like I am doing well, feeling better than I have in a long time. Again, I will post more details as soon as I feel I have enough experience to make it worth writing about. a > > I am watching with interest about your progress with .
