Anemia

Is anemia common with CFS or Fibromyalgia? I've been anemic for over

a year, even though the doctor prescribed iron. He did a scope of my

stomach and a colonoscopy to check for bleeding. They were normal.

I'm in menopause, so that's not the cause. Does anyone have any idea

as to what is causing the anemia?

Thank you for your help!

Sue

[Moderator: Assuming that this occurred AFTER diagnosis of CFIDS (if it happened

before, you should not have gotten a CFIDS diagnosis), the likely cause is

deterioration of stomach and gut health due to low level coagulation issues.

Reduced oxygen delivery to tissue and removal of toxins will cause the cell's

health to deteriorate and cause malabsorption]
