Guest guest
Yes, it could be due to infections, and you might have more than others, but I would also keep in mind that 'healthy' people can also often carry these same bugs, yet for the majority, their immune systems (of which 70% is in your gut!) keep them in check. But that's where lactoferrin might help. Apparently it helps to keep the iron away from the bugs. Rich VanK might know more about this. Also -- if you're taking too much zinc, that can block or inhibit copper absorption. And milk or calcium can completely block manganese metabolism. I posted a study on that a couple of weeks ago. Also -- very important -- some DRUGS can cause anemia, like KLONOPIN, which is highly touted by some famous doctors. Of course they forget to mention the anemia angle, but klonopin (or its generic, clonazepam) is one of the few benzo drugs that has anemia, and a few other 'emias' as " side effects " . I took it for 4-5 years, but have slowly switched to valium and am very slowly tapering off of that via the Ashton protocol. d. [Moderator: Changes after long term CFIDS can often be due to one or another upregulated system getting EXHAUSTED. DIC in the case of coagulation issues, etc. In other cases, it may be because of cummative inflammation, fibrin or biolfilms blocking the flow through an organ -- resulting in decrese function --such as becoming diabetic].
