Could you explain where to get these kinds of tests?

[Moderator: These are standard (but advanced) tests. HEMEX labs in the US does

them, but it is offered by many labs:

tml

at

http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/conditions/hypercoagulable_disorders\

..html they describe the disorders and the testings.

The usual problem is getting the MD to order them when you do not display ACUTE

TRADITIONAL SYMPTOMS associated with these disorders, such as a clear thrombotic

episode....

As a FYI just receieved coagulation results (do every few years unless there is

appearance of a coagulation issue), I have low Mean Platette Volume(MPV) (risk

of bleeding) and my Soluble Fibrin Level is in the normal range (high end)

instead of it's usual 5% above the high level. Otherwise everything else is

mid-range normal. low MVP to me is a non issue because fish oil etc is known to

drop it etc. Bottom line, my maintenance of coagultion is working for my

specific genetic condition.]

I already ahd the coag panle w/fragment 1-2 tests and etc? showing

coagulation issues

but want more info..

Is dr Gleuck the only dr to see? Any knowledgeable drs in Ca?

or can a local hemotologyist do the correct tests?

are any of these speicalized test pd by medicare, or is there a need

for a certain diagnosit code?

I ahd a dr once tell me to take daily baby aspirin, but I decided

not to, and luckily as I found out that is hard for me to detox.

(genetic detox test/genova lab)

I had a root canal/health expert / dentist tell me that my fragment

1 etc coag tests usually return to nromal after dealing wiht root

canal issues.
