Guest guest
I am one of Dr. Cheney's patients and have been with him since 2000. I am currently taking the CSFs but due to my age I have had problems like many of the other people on the board. I have been told by Dr. C as well as other CFIDS specialists that I need to go on disability. I currently live in Southern California and have an opportunity to move to the Upper Peninsula (Marquette, MI) and teach part time as opposed to working full time as a tax attorney. Dr. C feels that this may be ok while another doctor prefers that I don't work at all as he says I am very sick and I need to quit pushing myself. I have been up to Marquette and have noticed that any form of walking or exercise causes me to get short of breath. I am not sure that this is due to the fact that I am not used to the cold weather or on the other hand cold weather is not good for CFIDS patients in general. Any help would be appreciated.
