CSM is also being used in Europe for veterinary use for the same purpose.

I also saw years ago that the military includes superactivated

charcoal in it's bioweapons kits for field soldiers. This by no means

indicates it's effectiveness.

I tried it. Again, this did not work for me. Good luck.

Hi ,

Did you go and see Dr.Shoemaker? My six year old son has asthma

from our then moldy house. In the winter he does fine, but this

spring he started wheezing again and we started singulair and went

on pulmicort once a day for a few weeks. We stopped the pulmicort

and he did pretty good until a two weeks ago with all the rain we

have had. We are now giving pulmicort again and I hope we can go

off it once the rains quit for a while and things dry up. Last year

we were on advair and singulair and quit both in the end of November

after starting sporanox in October. We were on the Sporanox until

March when his breathing got bad. Sporanox did not seem to be the

answer. I have been giving him activated charcoal in the meantime

as a substitute for the CSM and it does not seem to help either

though the amounts I use may be too small or like you say it is

unable to do the job in the first place. I do not think it can do

much harm and it may be removing some.

I may take him to Dr.Shoemaker or Dr.Schaller this fall when my

occupation can allow the trip. The majority, but not all of people

who comment on this have mostly positive things to say about the

CSM. It sure would be nice it it does work or it he could treat MSH

with something.

I see Dr. Shoemaker is an approved Blue Cross doctor which may help

since we are on that. Did your testing and visit cost very much? I

would like a ballpark figure to work on.

Thanks,

Fletch
