Do you go around putting holes in the > walls?? I think having the mold cultures would do it, as the walls are porous- maybe on a very humid day. If it isn't showing up, maybe putting a small hole and then testing? I don't know.....just an idea. My house came with holes in the roof- 3 inspectors missed it, it was in an out of the way place. Things just happen, so we deal with it as we become aware. For me, the mold zapped my strength so I had such a hard time doing anything, even maintenence...what a dichotomy. Guest guest
You need to be a real investigator. I had air quality person do testing and he thought the air was good and tests came out pretty good also. However I said if I keep door to room shut, it stinks. He thought the smell perhaps from closet where there was some antigues but smell was not stronger in there. I had house humidity very low and I think that affected the tests. This spring roofer found a leak around chimney right over top of the room. That was fixed a few months ago and now room is not smelling any more. So there you go, an air quality professional wrong really and tests not conclusive. I needed to follow my the fact that things did not pass the smell test to come to right answer. Air quality tests may have caught it this summer. Humidity in house over 40% but back this winter, humidty was at 25% or so. --- In , " kl_clayton " <kl_clayton@y...> wrote: > > My house came with holes in the roof- 3 inspectors missed it, it was in an out of the way > place.
