Guest guest
I'll second that. (Glad you're on your way, Kim!) That book will cost you less than any one visit to the doctor's office. Well worth it! Moreso, since you have kids. Some people are much more vulnerable than others, and don't get well easily. To have an adult's brain and endocrine system all jacked up is one thing. To have that happen in a growing child is probably a zillion times worse. DO document the livin' daylights out of your situation! Take pictures. Best to you. I’m just about done reading Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker’s “Mold Warriors” and have learned sooooo much more about the effects of mold toxins on your health. Go to www.moldwarriors.com <http://www.moldwarriors.com/> and get a copy today – you won’t regret it. Guest guest
Hi Carmella - Do what you have to do for yourself and your family! It's not at all unusual for people to feel like your husband does. Some people see the mold thing, but don't connect it to the illness (as I did). Some people see it, but just can't believe it. Denial - it ain't just a river in Egypt. Then, of course, there's the Health Department oh-so-authoritatively telling you stuff that won't get you well and may very well make you sicker, so that just adds to the problem. (Did they take any samples, or did they just look around?) If you do nothing else today, get the book. If you can get your husband to read it, or let you read it to him, I have every reason to believe he'll come around. The writer and the people who help him out are all good folks - absolutely truthful and absolutely committed, operating from a very strong moral base. This comes through very clearly in the writing. (If your husband'll listen, then he'll get the idea very quickly that he can trust what he's hearing. And then he'll know what to do.) Guest guest
Carmella, All of the symptoms you described are most likely mold related. I had most everything you mentioned plus more but didn't experience the lumps under the skin. I suffered for months in the school where I taught. Inspections were done and many toxic molds were found. I found my way to Dr. Shoemaker, have been a patient for over a yr., & I am feeling so much better but no longer at the school. My advice is to move out ASAP but don't take anything with you. Call Dr. Shoemaker's office 410-957-1550 to order his new book Mold Warriors. Cost is $24.95 plus S & H. It will tell you all you need to know about toxic mold exposure. S
