Guest guest
You can go to Home Depot (or Lowes) and buy mold test kit and do some testing yourself. Kit costs 10.00 I think and if you grow mold within three days, you send it off to be analyzed for another 30.00. I'm not positive of the exact costs I've given you. I've run the tests myself but not since last year. > Hello, > > I'm new here but have been reading all of your posts. Guest guest
> You have to be insane for living in there for another > second... > Get out now.... It was very sane to ask mold survivors instead of doctors. A lot of us DID ask doctors for help with mold as our symptoms grew worse. They told us to " spray bleach and forget it " . " Mold can't hurt anybody " . And when we got sicker, they called it " depression " or " hysteria " and finally gave up on us. Not only did doctors give us bad advice, but they ignored the consequences of their bad advice and abandoned us completely when we grew more assertive about their horrible mistake. And since they refuse to look at us, they persist in giving their bad advice to new generations of future mold survivors. Our advice? Flee! -

Just as MCSser create their own special communities, " Moldies " are going to have to create a working environment based on the necessity of special mold resistant construction/infrastructures and respect for the principles of cross contamination and differing levels of reactivity in others. Given Dr Shoemakers 24% HLA DR potentialities, I see this as being inevitable since so many people are destined to become ill. I don't see any way around it! But this eventuality is going to require a degree of education and social cooperation that is so far " out there, in the future " that we have just barely even scratched the surface of having the NEED for this type of long term solution. In the meantime, I compensate by EXTEME avoidance while sleeping in order to build up a reserve of tolerance so I can " dip into " a moderately contaminated environment long enough to keep working. Not the ideal situation, but the best I can do until I can deveolope a full time mold free environment in which I only have to worry about passing through spore plumes while out and about. -

Guest guest
If I were you, I would contact your local Health Dept. asap!!!! OSHA can not help, but you can contact the Tenant/Landlord Assoc. in your city or state and make a complaint. TAKE PICTURES...very important. Any time you contact the Apt. Office, put it in writing and keep a copy for yourself. Make sure that you put in the note that you have called and left so many messages and no response. Always date and put the time the the note and also on the pictures. The most important thing is to get out asap!!!!! Contact EPA in yopur area ( like they might help but don't count on it, but cover ALL bases) I know there is more I can tell you but my brain is not working as well as it did before Mold Exposure. ( In my case I took my own samples of the mold and sealed them. If you do this make sure you wear a mask. It is not recommed doing this because dry mold spores are extremely dangerous. I had no choice to do this because I was all alone in this thing.) Sincerely, Marcie ( GET OUT OF THERE!)
