Guest guest
I am receiving mail from a different mailbox that has Norton Antispam on it. Even though I have gone in and set 'groups' as mail that is not spam, it keeps labeling it as spam so that is why I have Norton Antispam in all my subject replies. However I sent a message to a friend of my to his business email address. The software there filters out anything that could be spam, so if I would use the word 'sex' even if in contex of what is the sex of your new kitten, it comes back to me and I get that, so I go in and remove offending word and put in 'gender' instead, etc. However I sent a post from this group and it was sent back to me undelivered because it had the 'url of a pdf file with the word 'MOLD' in it!! I was trying to send the pdf file from the State of New York guidelines for preventing mold in homes posted here. So mail about mold is considered 'junk mail'!!! *** ----- Original Message ----- From: " Mail Administrator " <Postmaster@...> > This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason: > > Your message was not delivered because the destination computer refused > to accept it (the error message is reproduced below). Guest guest
That's not necessarily the case. It could be blocked because of the " .url " extension. They may be blocking all web pages sent as attachments because a lot of spammers do that. You might want to consider copying and pasting a portion of the page into the email body, or using a link that actually ends in .html, .htm or .pdf if the page is an opened pdf file. Guest guest
Kim, Thanks for explanation. I did not send it as an attachment but perhaps as a link. Come to think of it, I have mentioned mold in email to him, so you must be correct. This helps as he was not able to explain it himself. Now I will try just sending copy and pasted material, no links, and no attachments. I noticed earlier it would not take 'anything' with those '>' in it, i.e. forwarded material.
