Guest guest
Elvira, Put 'candida men symptoms' into Google. I got below link but I think there are other symtoms not mentioned here that affect BOTH men and women. Candida can infect the whole GI system and systems connected to that: mouth, throat (white coating), stomach (ulcers if bad), intestines, colon, rectum (where there may be itching), bladder (causing bladder infections, urinary tract itching) and also the skin (itching); sinuses and ear canal since opened to GI system. Skin because skin is also attached to GI system, GI system is an extension of our skin but inside of our bodies, so skin is connected to and in a way part of the GI system (it gets rid of waste products too), so any of these parts would display infection or symptoms of infection such as chronic itching. Question is what's the Solution? Guest guest
Elvira, That would be a worse case scenerio. Skin infections can also be fungal and bacterial (staph). What I do if I have skin infection since I don't know 'what' it is, is I use over-the-counter fungal creams and alternate that with one of the triple antibiotic creams. There are also natural substances like Tea Tree Oil and even rubbing a cut piece of garlic over skin, etc. If your doctor tests you for Candida and you have it, you can ask him to order Nystatin for in it powder form and can gargle with it and then swallow, make douches with it, put a drop of it in ear, make a skin emulsion with it, etc. I don't know what your friend has but it could be any of those things. If can't get tested, I guess try the 'shotgun' approach like above alternating antifungal creams with antibiotic creams. Others here may have some ideas. Soak in baths with a cup or two of baking soda and also a cup of epson salts. Salty water or highly acid water (vinegar) should help to kill fungal (as well as Candida, which is a type of fungus) infections. Salt-water baths feel oh so good also, soothing to muscle aches and pains. I highly recommend them. Do as freq as you can if you think you have infection.
