Guest guest
, Since heat rises, wouldn't it be more energy efficient to have radiant heat in the floor. I think they make that. Guest guest
Hot air rises, radient heat panel heat the objects and people first, and radient heat is bounced off the floor. You would not even need a fan to draw the heat down with a vaulted ceiling, a ridiculouse notion, a fan in the winter makes you cold, and I see people freezing all the time with vaulted ceilings-their hot air does indeed go up. The radient heat in the floor is either hydroponic, needing a large boiler, very expensive, and ties you into a fossil fuel, also, the idea of a liquid leak in my floor frightenes me, plus if anything goes wrong, it costs another fortune; or electric wires in the floor, which does not work well and is expensive. The EPA has done studies that Show these panels,Enerjoy, are extremly cost effective, and save money over a traditional heat pump. The EPA studies also showed they came out on top with users comfort . If one panel goes bad, the system is not " down " , and and electrician just scews in another panel. Also, you can adjust each room to your comfort level. Great for the chilly elderly. > , > Since heat rises, wouldn't it be more energy efficient to have radiant heat > in the floor.
