Guest guest
, Re: CSM and stomach trouble I think only because I already have stomach inflamation. I have a systemic Candida infection and I think that has caused the stomach inflamation. I did have stomach ulcers but those have disappeared. Really all of this started at one time so it is all related to same problem. My health tank all of a sudden a year and half ago. I have ALSO gotten very little help from doctors. When I went to an infectious disease doctor he actually said, " he had people who really needed his services sitting in the waiting room, so he had to go!!! " Since that time I tested positive to Epstein Barr Virus. A half a year later I tested still positive to EBV with higher numbers. That should have been in his area of expertise. I also then tested positive to four tests for Candida infection. That should have also been his area of expertise. I still have a chronic sore throat that is probably caused by EBV but I went to an ENT doctor about it first and he just took a piece of gauze and wrapped it around my tongue so he could get a good grip and pulled my tongue out and looked at my throat with his EYES and said there is nothing wrong with your throat. He could have taken a throat culture I learned later. He wouldn't have been able to see my larnyx like that and that could be infected. I have an appt with another ENT coming up as I have to talk on the phone at work and it hurts my throat. As for CSM, I am being treated for the Candida now and if I get that under control, I will try CSM again. Trouble begins with me feeling slightly sick to my stomach and if I keep taking it, throwing it up. ----- Original Message ----- From: " ldelp84227 " <ldelp84227@...> >> Yea I also wondered how people can take the cholestyramine if they have > belly trouble and constipation trouble. Guest guest
, I have gastritis, duodenitis, and acid reflux; the cholestryramine upsets all of these. I don't throw up, but my entire digestive system burns. even with a small dose. I think all of this was caused from my exposure to the T-2 toxin exposure. Guest guest
Kathy , didn't Dr. S give you something for the acid reflux & heartburn? I never had to use it but I know I had an RX for something. Just can't remember what it was. Sue

That doens't help me at all. I have to take 4 Acipex a day and it still doens't always help. Have either of you had any other treatment. I haven't seen Dr. Shoemaker yet. I'm trying to find out if there is any other treatment besides the cholestryamine that helps. Do you know if the Welchol causes digestive problems. Have you seen Dr. Shoemaker and if so, has he given you any other treatment. Kathy Ranitidine > Kathy , > didn't Dr. S give you something for the acid reflux & heartburn? Guest guest
Prevacid was for the acid reflux....you can try other " Proton Pump Inhibitors " , ask your doctor (Or try Prilosec over-the-counter). I am not sure what are the benefits of each. Kathy <kathywnb@...> wrote: ridofmold <getridofmold@...> wrote: Thank you both for responding. Isn't ranitidine the ingredient in Zantac? Guest guest
Kathy, No, I haven't used anything but the CSM. I had some problems at first with constipation & bloating but I just dealt with it the best I could. I used the sorbital & the other Rx which helped with the heartburn & acid reflux. Now I use Milk of Mag to help with the constipation. I have no problems at all. I also take Trental for circulation, it has helped with the tingling & numbness. It's a shame you can't tolerate the CSM because it has helped me tremendously. Pretty much symptom free after being a patient for over a yr.
