NIH Issues Important Request for CFS Research Proposals

Today the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a Request

for Applications seeking research proposals on " Neuroimmune Mechanisms and

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. " The announcement states that approximately

$4,000,000 has been set aside for successful applications, including an

intention to fund 6-10 new studies.

The CFIDS Association of America has been campaigning for the

release of this RFA and the related funding for two years. Read more about

this important notice to the research community and how you can help boost

NIH's CFS research program by clicking on

Thank you for your continued participation in CFIDS advocacy!
