Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome.I wished that I could get started. I am under so much stress all the time, that I turn to food. My husband and I have two homes and we or should I say I am trying to make life easier and he is not going along with it and it is hard. One of the houses is one of his fathers and it is getting to expensive to have two. Right now it is not the time to sell so I am going to get the house ready to try and sell next summer and I think that it will be easier on us. I keep plugging away and I keep a journal of food and feeling. again thanks for the welcome.
Guest guest
It's hard when u are under stress. And it can be so easy to say, "I'll get on it when things calm down." But when is life ever really stress free? Isn't there always something? I say this knowing I have done and do the same thing. However I think the best time is usually now. But, that's another thing that's easier said then done. Guest guest
Welcome! Your wapf chapter leaders can help you find milk- just go to the wapf website and find the chapter closest to you and email a leader. There are many on this board as well who can help. I recently did my first 2 progress tests and got 99% right which is a 4.0 GPA with " Superior Distinction " . Guest guest
Thank you, Susie. Are there any " buying clubs " in the Twin Cities? I live in Eagan. I would love to join one if they are available. Any help is greatly appreciated. I hope I am following the rules of etiquet here. Guest guest
- Although there are buying clubs in Mn, I & #39;m unaware of any in the Twin Cities. What many of us do is participate in or organize group buys of things; everything from cod liver oil to nuts to flour. On a much smaller scale of course, these buys get us all a discount on great product. Susie
Guest guest
You can check with UNFI and Albert's organics and Azure Standard for help in locating Twin Cities buying clubs. Additionally there may be some that order from Frontier. However, these are buying from wholesalers not directly from the farmers, growers, cheesemakers, bakers, etc. Our buying club in St. Cloud also organizes orders from local farmers. Guest guest
This is my first visit to the group. I am clueless as to how to familiarize myself with the resources held here. Could someone please give me a general guide to finding the good stuff and the meaning of some of the terminology that I might stumble upon. Any assistance would be appreciated. thanks
Guest guest
Welcome! The group is not posting as actively as it was a couple years ago. I hope that someone with more brain than I have at the moment will be able to point you in the right direction as far as info & resources go.
