I tried a related drug, imipramine. Couldn't tolerate it at a fraction of the

dose. Woke up the first night with tachycardia. But I generally do poorly with

pharmaceuticals.

Thank you so much for this information, Jane and everyone.

Yesterday the surgeon told me she'd never seen another patient with the leg

and groin pain and numbness I have, which I find hard to believe. She wants

to refer me to physical therapy--and I am too sick to even be out of bed.

Now I am afraid I have healed with pinched nerves and the pain won't ever

go away. Yesterday I had hope of being reassured. Now, I am lost, as

usual, with no idea what will happen.

Jane, my dog and cats are my best companions too. Thank you for sharing

your story. I will have to hang onto the hope that I will at least get back

to feeling a little bit better than I do now. That's about all I have.

Best wishes and love to all, Robbi

Thank you so much, everyone has been so helpful with responses.

Gail, you sound much like me. I'll have to comment more when feeling

better.

Love to all, Robbi
