Guest guest
Hi , How are you? I have spent the last few days reading Dr. Kruse's article, defining terms, and doing my own diagrams to get a layman's understanding. It has given me greater clarity I believe, about what's going on in my body. It makes sense to me, especially when considering my health from childhood until my ME onset, that the starting point for me would be a gene defect limiting my ability to clear toxins and biotoxins. The next step is that biotoxins remaining in the body, attach to receptors that carry them to the gut or fat cells. It appears to me from his article and diagram that most of the actions and reactions causing our symptoms, happen after biotoxins reach the fat cells. For that reason, my logic says that reducing body fat, which Dr. Fry does with a ultra lowfat diet, is key. Look where fat is on the chart. It's the second step. Dr. Kruse and Dr. Fry agree that identifying and killing the pathogen is a must. We're killing the FL1953 in me, with medication plus starving it by removing its' food source - fat. And according to this diagram, reducing fat should reduce many symptoms from a body chemistry standpoint, as well. The other place receptors carry biotoxins is of course, the gut. I still don't understand leaky gut like I want to but will tackle that next. What you've shared about oxalates and human probiotics is very important and has helped me. The tetracycline and malarone I'm taking to handle FL1953 puts me in that familiar " catch 22. " I'm taking probiotics and thinking that I'll straighten my gut out the rest of the way once the FL1953 is seriously knocked down. Some of these choices are not easy to make. I prefer avoiding prescriptions drugs whenever possible but don't know how else to handle the FL1953. In a couple of months when I have some other bloodwork done, I may request checking my alpha MSH, C4a, and cortisol levels to get those markers. At this point, what do you think of Dr. Kruse's hypothesis ? Kay
