Guest guest
Thanks Marti. Sorry to belabor the point, but I still don't know what the amount used for indigestion is... Is it 1/8 teaspoon? So you double to 1/4? Thanks ________________________________ From: marti_zavala <marti_zavala@...> Sent: Monday, February 20, 2012 7:00 PM Subject: Re: Fibromyalgia & stomach cramps - Sue  Hi , I take double the amount used for indigestion. The first part of the dose neutralizes your stomach acid, the second part gets absorbed into your bloodstream which then goes to your muscles. I would do this twice a day if I was in pain then once a day once you stabilize. You can keep it to twice a day if you tend to overdo it physically. I forgot to add epsom salt baths with baking soda but not everyone can tolerate those. My body loves them. I would do the baking soda about 1/2 hr after a meal as this can be used to help your digestion. Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone but I think on an empty stomach works better. I know people put a little pinch in their water and sip throughout the day to alkalinize but I'm not sure about that. We need the acid in our stomachs for germ protection and good digestion. It's not when I'm having any GI related issues. Is there any way to prevent or treat them or any sort of stretching I could do? > > > > > > I've had Fibromyalgia for over 25 years. Guest guest
Hi , No problem. I didn't have a box of Arm & Hammer close by and I don't measure anymore. The indigestion dose is 1/2 tsp in 4 ounces of water so the muscle soreness dose is 1 tsp in 4-8 oz of water. Anyway, if you forget, then just remember, it's twice the indigestion dose as per the box instructions. I also see on the box, it says to accurately measure which I haven't been doing but you can take several doses during the day which I don't. And I could use the extra sodium so I just guesstimate.
