I think the Dubbo study, if anything, characterizes CFS as being just like AIDS.

People can be HIV positive for years and not have AIDS. An AIDS diagnosis is

generally given when the person gets a secondary infection and then progresses

to AIDS. In other words, it can look like various viral, bacterial, protozoal,

etc., infections, and it is the secondary trigger that makes the illness

apparent.
