Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I was to Dr S and cannot tolerate cholestyramine very well. I get nauseated and threw up a couple of times. I have digestive system problems though and inflamation prior to taking the cholestyramine. I take it once a day instead of four times. Does he treat for pain? Definately toxins cause pain. I had painful arm/shoulder that went away with cholestyramine. I stopped taking the CSM because of digestive problems and then started to take the one dose a day because shoulder pain returned. I am not taking anything else for treatment right now as I am under treatment for something else and don't want to take too many things at once. I told Dr S that I would proceed later. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Dr. Shoemaker taylors his treatment to each individual person and their needs after he sees their test results. Sorry, but I can't advise you on what he would think you would need, as I have no clue. Signed: Get Rid of Mold > Thank you both for responding. Isn't ranitidine the ingredient in Zantac? That doens't help me at all. I have to take 4 Acipex a day and it still doens't always help. Have either of you had any other treatment. I haven't seen Dr. Shoemaker yet. I'm trying to find out if there is any other treatment besides the cholestryamine that helps. Do you know if the Welchol causes digestive problems. Have you seen Dr. Shoemaker and if so, has he given you any other treatment. > > Kathy > > Kathy , > > > didn't Dr. S give you something for the acid reflux & heartburn? Guest guest
How much do the test cost? If my neuro will consult with Dr. Shoemaker, can the test be done at my neuro's office and labs they use or does the blood have to go to Dr. Shoemaker's lab. > > Yes, he did a sinus culture but mine was neg.
