Guest guest
Hi I have owned a medical oxygen and ozone machine for the past 6 years. Ozone is just an active form of oxygen and as far as I know can be used to treat all kinds of illnesses. I gave myself intramuscular shots in the thigh of 97% oxygen and 3% ozone for about a year and an half. The longer I did the treatment the better I felt and in fact after the 18 months I could ride my bike all over my village and work on my old house for hours without getting tired. I worked for about two months every day to make the place livable. By work I means physical labor like cleaning, setting up furniture, and working in the garden. What the oxygen and ozone shots do is they increase the level of oxygen in the body. And a higher level of oxygen means that most bacteria and viruses at one stage of their lives have a hard time living in our bodies. At one point my level of oxygen was so high that it was the highest level possible in a healthy person. I was told that with time my immune system would rest and then be able to take over the work of fighting off disease. That did not happen in my case. I stopped doing the oxygen/ozone about 5 years ago thinking that I would find a real treatment for my CFS, which of course, I did not , but while I was on that treatment my levels of herpes viruses went down. I have the blood tests to prove it. So my experience is this: 1) It did not cure my CFS 2) It took a long time to achieve major results (in my case 18 months). 3) I gave myself one shot a day and I increased the amount of oxygen and ozone by small amounts. 4) It does increase energy levels but very gradually 4) Once you stop the treatments your energy levels start to go down and you have more and more symptoms of CFS. In my case the oxygen and ozone treatments made me feel much better, but they did not cure my CFS. Perhaps in the case of many patients all that can be achieved is a decrease in the intensity of the symptoms with any kind of treatment. I would hate to think that a cure would be found when I am in my eighties, since I am now in my fifties and have been ill for the past 21 years. Another treatment that I did try was neurofeedback also called brain biofeedback. There the results were good, as the treatment cut my symptoms in half, but this also was not a cure for CFS at least for me. I did get rid of my depression, panic attacks and anxiety for which I took over 20 pills a day. As the treatments went on I needed less and less medication for those symptoms until I stopped the medication altogether. The weakness and the low immune system did remain to my great disappointment at the time. For some people the neurofeedback works to resolve the CFS completely as in happened for the author of the book " A Symphony in the Brain " , Jim Robbins who was ill with CFS for over 10 years. His experience with neurofeedback is chronicled in his book, and in addition he writes about the roots and the history of the development for neurofeedback. In case somebody has an idea that I am not really a CFS patient, let me assure you that I was diagnosed by one of the best doctors in the field about 13 years ago. If I just had depression, then after doing all of those neurofeedback treatments and no longer needing medication, I would have been able to start a new life with all the energy in the world. That did not happen and as I said the weakness and low immunity persisted in my case, but at least the brain symptoms were gone for good. Mira From: csharpham@... Either Ozonated water etc, or even IV ozone as given by medical practitioners, especially in europe etc. Generally it's used to kill bugs and so on, but because it is of course a very oxidative treatment, would it be bad for CFS seeing as the illness is based largely on oxidative stress by nature? Trying to get to see a doc who does IV medical ozone and other interesting therapies, like UV Blood Irradiation etc. I am however very sensitive to for instance, MMS. That stuff made me feel really toxic and increased all symptoms, YEARS ago before I was as extremely sensitive as I have become now. So not sure on ozone yet. Thanks. ~Chris. Guest guest
Hi I actually bought a medical generator, oxygen concentrator, & sauna so that I might self administer ozone. The sauna causes extreme rashing that I was told by the manufacter it was the toxins leaving my body. Drinking ozonated water gave me a lift if I only drank 1 glass a day; more made me feel worse. Ear insufflation cause extreme draining, itching, & swelling. Again, was told it was the toxins leaving my body. I never did do the IVs but have heard good reports as far as making one feel really good and energetic. I gave the ozone a serious trial, more than 4 years consistantly thinking it would be the thing that healed me; it didn't. It does give added energy, but I think cfs is simply too complex, for whatever reason, for the ozone to actually heal. And even tho I have the equipment, I seldom even use it anymore. I have better results with various supplements it seems. If you want to try an effective form of ozone that is much less expensive, try a product called homozon. It's ozonated magnesium and works as a bowel cleanser but has the added ozone so you also get the energy with it. It won't heal you either, but will make life easier and you can take it daily.
