Hi group,

I have posted previously about participating in the research study for ATP Fuel

( a better version of NT Factor).

I had posted that I had excellent results. Then I ran out of the supplement and

hung onto a bit of the improvement for a couple of months. Very happy and felt

it was worth it - up to 85% functionality.

Then my son came home from college and the cleaning prior and the visit itself

took me down to a lower level of functionality. Let's say 70% or maybe 65%.

Then my new bottle of ATP Fuel came and I started it right before he left and I

have to report that it has had the opposite effect.

Severe fatigue, not even PEM as no exertion was necessary. Could not get out of

bed, 10% functionality, maybe. Seriously worrying. So exhausted that I forgot

to take my pills one morning and by 3pm, I felt better. I had not been taking

it and felt better after 4 days.

I feel as if it is adrenal fatigue. Completely running out of cortisol by late

evening. Symptoms only resolving with 10mg of HC. Has made my POTS worse so

there is a definite connection. Very low in electrolytes (I feel better after

an emergency packet or even a banana!).

Still not up to where I was previously but wouldn't have been anyway since my

son was home.

My thoughts: too stimulating for my weakened state. Perhaps you have to be in

a good adrenal level for ATP Fuel to help. Maybe good glutathione levels help

to recycle the ATP and heal the mitochondria and if those levels (cortisol and

glutathione) are depleted, the reverse effect happens.

Going to check in with the contact I had for the study and report my findings.

Any thoughts?

Marti
