Thanks so much for getting back to me. I do feel the key to healing the gut is

the proper acid level and probiotics colonizing, etc.

NOW- please pardon my denseness, but what you wrote confused me, so could you

help so that I could understand better? You wrote that " low acid means many

probiotics will even survive the gut acid. " Did you mean " high " acid?? Or do you

mean low acid as in the opposite of alkaline? I'm so confused. I thought I had

low acid, so I take Betaine HCI, but if you're saying the pro-biotics won't

survive the gut acid, I'm confused... Do you mind explaining?

THanks so much!

Stomach acid may be a big factor since low acid means many probiotics, aside

from live ones, will even survive the gut acid. We used Yasko's stomach PH RNA

for about 3-4 months to get the PH up a but more and the veggies and fruits

seemed to take better along with the probiotics. Types O's and I think, type

A's tend to have more acid. I'm an O so its been a problem until then.

hormonal issues and no matter what I do, systemic candida does not want to go

away. I tried to stay away from western meds - but Diflucan and Nystatin really

do help me - particularly with pain, chem sensitivities and food issues.

sensitive and must do the most gentle and slow of protocols.
