This week my regular chiropractor was gone so I went to a new one

(actually I saw him once 10 years ago). I asked him to do a whole-body

adjustment as my regular chiropractor does, and did he ever. I floated

when I was done (usually a sign my body is doing well after an

adjustment) and I went home and took a nap to let things settle. Problem

is later that day my whole body started aching like crazy from the tips

of my fingers to the tips of my toes and I hurt worse than when I went

in. There is a virus going around our school where I work with high

temps and aches.

Thoughts from anyone one, am I detoxing from what the chiro did or am I

experiencing the virus that is going around? Anyone else ever detox from

a chiro adjustment? I don't want putting down chiropractors as mine

keeps me functioning and able to work. My glands hurt all over my body,

but when he was working on me, they were already extremely sore at the

time. You know when they tell you that there are 18 pressure points to

diagnose Fibro? Every one of these points hurt as he was working on me,

so it was already aggravated; did he make it worse by releasing toxins,

etc.? It's been a long time since I've had a bad Fibro flare so I don't

remember the symptoms. I went to the store and bought veggies and

fruits and juiced them last night (yum, my body loves it) as I was

craving this.

I also have sores in the top back of my mouth like a blister, behind the

top of both back teeth ~ went to the dentist and he said it wasn't the

result of the root canal done two months ago. Said to rinse with warm

water and/or Listerine.

Interested in your thoughts.

Hi " aching all over "

Whatever you have, I have it to and I'm in Flagstaff AZ.

Plus headache and neck-ache, general weakness, for about a week.

After internet research I decided I have either viral meningitis or flu.

But since all symptoms are neurological, I suspect the later.

So I collected all my anti-virals- Not on an empty stomach

vitamin c powder-works for me if I drink it all day to bowel tolerance

Immune boost

Equilibrant ordered from www.equilibranthealth.com

(a formula Dr. Chia, virus disease specialist, put together)

monolauren from Ecological Formulas

and anything else I can tolerate

for muscle pain I take 2 magnesium malate from Source Naturals-

this product has saved my life for about 15 years

for other pain I taking 1 tylenol and 1 ibupropin together.-works for me.

As you know, everything affects us all differently.

And a friend in Phoenix with CFS just got over it. She gets acupuncture and

does well on chinese herbs and teas. I can't tolerate either.

I'm searching the internet for anti-viral I can buy on-line.

I have never had a bad experience buying meds from India.

If you know or any anti virals beside valtrex/valcyte etc let me know.

Thanks for sharing, Barbara. A friend and co-worker said she was aching

all week, too, in weird places like I was (upper jaw, left side

especially, etc.). I work and live at a private boarding school, as one

colleague described it ~ a petri dish. I feel a bit better today after

getting out in the sunshine and fresh air for two days. For other

antivirals I use l-lysine and grapefruit seed extract. I have used oil

of oregano in the past, just not a fan of it.

Fortunate that tylenol and ibuprofen works for you ~ when I am bad like

this, it takes a small dose (250 mg) of hydrocodone/vicodin and soma

(1/4 of a 350 mg tab). The muscle pain has been especially bad this past

week, more than normal, that's how I decide if I am CFS/FMS or it's

another virus that makes it all worse. Otherwise I can't sleep and my

hubby says I fidget all night trying to get relief from the pain.

I, too like magnesium malate (and source naturals products). This week I

did some juicing (parsley, celery, carrots, apples, red beets & beet

greens, spinach) as my body was craving the fresh juices. I know I'm

supposed to drink it right away and not save it, but I make enough to

last a week due to energy levels to do the juicing. I feel better for

this. When I get sick I go off my supplements as I can't swallow them as

well, then I get worse for not taking what my body needs. Sigh.

Sounds like toxin release. I had the same once with a massage.

Are you taking LDN for the Fibro?? Helps many.

Might want to check your food list for oxalates. I found eating spinach---SO

GOOD FOR YOU, caused me to react.

Hmm, spinach.

I came up as allergic to spinach on my last allergy testing. Maybe it's

actually the oxalates. I'll look up the foods which contain them.

I was told about 5 years ago I was allergic to kidney beans. Turns out they

are toxic in uncooked form due to the leptins. I continue to stay away from

them.

I definitely know that my achiness came wwwaaayyyy down when I was dx with

gluten intolerance and stopped eating gluten. I'm also very allergic to milk

and get achy whenever I cheat. I believe you have to have leaky gut for

these reactions so if don't have intestinal problems, you won't see these

reactions.
