Guest guest
Dear Group, I have a question that hit me today when I was driving back from the vet. Please let me explain this is a little bit before I will state my question. In veterinary medicine a dog which is ill, and let's say has not be vaccinated, can receive the serum of healthy dogs which have either been through the same illness, or have been successfully vaccinated against it and therefore have both good antibodies to it. If I cannot handle Human Herpes viruses and this has been proven over and over again for the past 15 years, by blood tests, why can't something similar be done for me. Is it impossible to give antibodies of healthy people to patients like us? If not why does it work in dogs and not for us? Mira
