Guest guest
Unfortunately, the Dr Austin Darragh talk on M.E. in Dublin has had to be put back 24 hours. It is now taking place at 3 PM on Sunday, May 27. If anyone sees the incorrect details anywhere, please highlight the change. Similarly, if you have passed the details on to anybody else. Thanks. Tom Dr. Austin Darragh to give free talk on M.E. in Dublin, Ireland Dr. Austin Darragh is one of maybe only a handful of doctors at consultant level in Ireland who are interested in treating patients (with drugs, supplements, etc.) (as opposed to just management strategies, or just diagnosing people and washing their hands of them). Some people may have seen his name on the International Clinical Criteria for M.E. (Carruthers et al., 2011) but not heard about him before. Tests he sometimes runs include thyroid function, adrenal function, " female " and " male " hormones (Oestradiol, Progesterone, testosterone, etc.), immune testing, etc. Anyway, the Irish ME/CFS Association have arranged for him to give a free talk in Dublin, Ireland on May 26. Details at: http://www.irishmecfs.org/events.html Tom (volunteer, PWME 23 years)
