Guest guest
Thanks Sue. I know about Dr. Galland in NYC. I'm done with doctors - the only thing a doctor can do (that I can't do) to balance the gut is to prescribe more anti-biotics. And I'm not going to do that.  I'm trying to do it with diet only. Maybe I'm naive, but doctors have helped me get into this mess, they are not gonna get me out and they only stress me out more, and the older I get the more I realize how much the stress of doctors has only made me worse. I do see a homeopath and maybe he can tap into the heavy metals or kidney or liver portion of it all. But the malabsorption in the gut, I think, can only be fixed with big dietary changes. So, only whole foods now. No additives. No sugar. No gluten. No whites - white rice, potato, etc. No starchy food as much as I can help it except around my period and only cultivated dairy - like yogurt with no additives, like Greed yogurt.  I will check out phoenix rising though. Is that a message board type deal? My Mom has terrible dysbiosis too. It runs in the women in our family. I'm trying to control stress as well and am doing mindful meditation. I think feeling ill and the pit in your gut or anxiety about not feeling well are a vicious cycle that also has to be addressed. ________________________________ From: Sue <suebackagain123@...> " " < > Sent: Saturday, May 5, 2012 8:34 PM Subject: Re: Get weak for hours after bowel movements  hi nancy. i think there is something more you can do to balance the gut. you should consult with a specialist....like dr. galland in NYC or something. or at least post it on the phoenix rising message boards so someone can comment. ..a lot of those people have seen a lot of specialists..
