Guest guest
Hormones can be supported through nutrition and supplements: minerals, herbs, and hormone precursors like pregnenolone. Detoxification is important to balance anything and get energy back. Hormones alone cannot bring energy back if the entire metabolism is impaired from a toxic liver or other weak organs. If cell membranes are damaged hormones receptor sites don't work to receive hormones so more hormones have limited benefit. The whole system usually has to be treated. Does anyone know if this is right? What else can be done to help balance the hormones? (I've heard of diet helping, what about herbs, accupuncture? bio compatible (these are still hormones though and hte above question still a concern) yam creme) OR is it ok to just leave the hormones unbalanced? I would think they are important to have functioning properly as they impact the whole body. thanks, Amy
Guest guest
To answer your question more directly, yes, your doctor is seeing the system wide consequences of doing one thing. But there are less volatile ways to support hormones rather than taking hormones directly. And it depends what you have in mind for treating what you found in those test results. Those can be treated through general nutrition and detoxification.
