My cfs started the same with with a bad case of the flu. I had some viral

test done a few years ago. My doctor said the viral load was too low to show

an active infection. It just meant that I had the virus some time ago. I got

sick in 88 and am still tired. My doc had no answers. I too hope somebody

can give a more detailed response. I was tested for the Epstein Barr along

with two other that I forget.

Thank you, Tony. I keep reading the same story about the flu. If it's too low to

be impactful, then why are we impacted? I think it means if the doctors had the

same illness, the numbers would be high enough to cause it....I hope you feel

better soon. Are you in the U.S.? I'm tempted to look in my journals & see

exactly the date of that last flu vaccine I got.

BTW, if anyone knows how to translate this number into the usual way I see it,

as in 1:3256 or whatever, that would give me more perspective. The ER told me it

WAS the reason for my fatigue, but the GP's obstinate it's all in my pretty 'lil
